Samsung has been rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat beta update to select Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge devices in the United Kingdom, South Korea, the United States and most recently, in China. When the Galaxy Beta Program was first made available in select countries, users quickly registered for the program and it was filled in no time as Samsung made limited spaces available. However, it now seems that Samsung has made the Galaxy Beta Program available to more users who own Galaxy S7 devices in the United Kingdom, at least for the time being.
With the addition of more spaces in the program, users who weren’t able to register during the initial wave of places have now been given a second chance to register for a spot. The availability of additional spaces in the program first came to light after several users on XDA reported being able to sign up for the program. If you would like to register for the second wave of spots in the program, simply download the Galaxy Beta Program app through Galaxy Apps or the Samsung Members app which is available through the Google Play Store or Galaxy Apps, depending on your country of residence. For the past week or so, there have been rumors going around that Samsung may open up the Galaxy Beta Program to users in more countries, after a tipster from the Philippines asked a Samsung customer service representative regarding the availability of the program in his country. The representative went on to state that the program will be made available in the Philippines starting early this week, though Samsung has made no official announcement regarding this.
