Verizon's Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge is Now Available

With the Galaxy Note 7 debacle behind them, at least Samsung is attempting to put it behind them, the company is now releasing a new color of their earlier flagship smartphone from 2016 – the Galaxy S7 Edge. With the Galaxy Note 7 out of the picture, the company has been upping their manufacturing of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, in an effort to minimize their profit loss for the remainder of the year, until the Galaxy S8 launches next Spring. And that includes putting out a brand new color, in Blue Coral which is now available from Verizon.

Normally, this new color wouldn’t be making it to carriers in the US, but due to the unprecedented circumstances, Samsung needed to do something to raise interest in the Galaxy S7 Edge ahead of the holiday season. The Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge is available from Verizon for the same price as the regular Galaxy S7 Edge – not a surprise, seeing as this is the exact same smartphone, just with a new coat of paint. For those that may need a bit of a refresher, seeing as the Galaxy S7 Edge was announced way back in February, the device sports a 5.5-inch curved Quad HD Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM. There is also 32GB of storage inside with a micro SD card slot available for expanding storage. Camera-wise, there is a 5-megapixel sensor on the front and a 12-megapixel sensor on the back. All of this is powered by a rather large 3600mAh battery.
