Perhaps the most popular color of the Google Pixel, the “Really Blue”, is now back in stock over at the Google Store. Google only sells the Really Blue color in 32GB storage variant, so the 128GB isn’t in stock. Additionally, Google is still out of stock of all colors for the larger Pixel XL. There’s no word on when that will be back in stock on the Google Store. You can pick up the Really Blue Pixel for just $649, which is a bit pricey, but that’s the price that the Pixel has been ever since it launched in October.
The Google Pixel is the first phone “made by Google”. It was actually made with HTC, but there’s no HTC branding anywhere on the phone (there is some inside the phone though). The Pixel sports a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It is also available with 128GB of storage, but not in Really Blue. There is a 12-megapixel camera around back which takes some pretty impressive photos, and there’s a 2770mAh battery inside powering things. The battery is non-removable, as you’d expect. The device runs Android 7.1 Nougat, and another perk that it brings is the ability to upload all your pictures in original resolution to Google Photos without using up your Google Drive storage.
Every year, when Google unveils their latest smartphones (Nexus, prior to this year), they go out of stock really quickly and don’t come back in for quite some time. So if you are looking to pick up the Really Blue Pixel, you may want to order yours very soon. Verizon will have them later this month, but at this time they don’t have any. The only real difference between the Pixel at the Google Store versus the one at Verizon, is the fact that Verizon’s is locked to their network.
