The Xiaomi Mi MIX managed to intrigue quite a few people when the company launched it. This device was announced two months ago next to the company’s flagship, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The Xiaomi Mi MIX comes with a really high screen-to-body ratio (91.3%), and it seems to have inspired some other manufacturers to push their very own unique designs to the market. Elephone is working on the Elephone S8 already it seems, and both Meizu and Huawei are expected to reveal their very own concept smartphones in the near future.
Honor teased the arrival of a new phone yesterday, and today’s date was listed, but it seems like that teaser did not refer to the company’s concept smartphone. Well, Honor has just released a new teaser image, and this is clearly regarding their concept device which will be announced on December 16th. If you take a look at the provided image (both still and animated one), you’ll get to see the device. Now, the third image in the gallery allegedly also shows off this smartphone as well, and is far clearer than the first two, but do keep in mind that the third image is not official, so we’re not sure this is the smartphone Huawei plans to launch under their Honor brand on December 16th. This phone will, allegedly, sport a display which is curved on all four sides, and the device will have very little bezel on it, you can expect it to sport a very high screen-to-body ratio.
In addition to all that, it was earlier confirmed that this smartphone will sport Huawei’s new fast charging technology, the company did announce their new graphene-assisted batteries recently, so it is likely that this phone will pack in such a battery as well. This smartphone will also ship without capacitive keys, or aperture for its camera sensors, while other ports and sensors also won’t be included, Honor allegedly plans to ship this device with peripherals in order to compensate for that. The company refers to this smartphone as ‘Magic’, but we still don’t know if that’s the name of this smartphone, or is it just a word that the company uses to describe this smartphone. This will be a very interesting smartphone at the very least, so stay tuned.
