Samsung’s Galaxy C7 Pro has shown up at TENNA, China’s regulatory body, and images of the unreleased device have just leaked on the web. While this is likely the final design of the Galaxy C7 Pro, it’s still worth remembering that nothing is official and finalized until the phone has been announced by Samsung. That being said, leaked images from a regulatory body like TENNA or the FCC are about as official as it’s going to get without Samsung unveiling the phone themselves. Today’s leaks also aren’t the first images to leak for the Galaxy C7 Pro, as one image leaked earlier this morning, although with a pink color instead of the gold model shown here, which points to Samsung launching at least two colors of the phone.
The earlier leak from this morning shows what is thought to be the Galaxy C5 Pro alongside the Galaxy C7 Pro, and although you can’t see the back of the device in the leak from earlier, you can see the front, which matches up with one of the leaked TENNA images, showing the front-facing camera as well as the earpiece and the ambient light sensors in the exact same spots, as well as the home button and the antenna bands near the corner parts of the edges.
Although the leaked images do showcase the design of the Galaxy C7 Pro, they do not provide any more details on the actual hardware when it comes to the exact specifications. It is evident though, that the device will come with a front-facing camera (which is pretty much standard at this point for most devices these days) as well as a rear-facing camera with an LED flash. Even without exact details, though, there have been plenty of rumored specs which give consumers a decent picture of what to expect from the device once it launches. This includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor as well as Adreno 506 GPU under the hood to power the device, and while the leaked images don’t list details about either camera, the recent leak on GFXBench suggests that Samsung will be using a 16-megapixel sensor for both the front and back. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy C7 Pro in January, and if that’s the case it’s likely to happen at CES.
