Back at IFA 2016 which was held in September, Nubia announced the Nubia Z11, its flagship smartphone, and the company said that it would be bringing it to the shores of India. Now, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has made good on its promise and it has launched the Nubia Z11, alongside the Nubia N1, in India.
When it comes to specs, the Nubia Z11 packs a 5.5-inch Full HD true bezel-less display with 2.5D curved glass. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and under the hood it packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC which is clocked at 2.15GHz, and it is coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU to handle graphics. The Nubia Z11 comes with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card slot located on the device. When it comes to optics, the new smartphone sports a 16-megapixel IMX298 sensor on the rear and it comes with PDAF, OIS and an f/2.0 aperture. Moving to the front, an 8-megapixel sensor can be found with an 80-degree wide-angle lens. It should also be noted that both cameras are protected by sapphire crystal glass. Quick Charge 3.0 is supported by this device, allowing users to quickly juice up the 3,000mAh non-removable battery featured in it. This dual SIM device comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and comes packed with a host of connectivity options including 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C port. For software, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Nubia UI 4.0 on top of it. The Nubia Z11 will be available exclusively from Amazon India in Blackgold color and it is priced at Rs. 29,999 ($444).
The Nubia N1, on the other hand, is Nubia’s mid-range offering for the Indian smartphone market. The device packs a 5.5-inch Full HD display and it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with a Mali T860 GPU to handle graphics. Storage-wise, it packs 3GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants, a 32GB variant and a 64GB storage option. A microSD card slot has been included on board the device, allowing users to expand the storage up to 128GB. When it comes to cameras, a 13-megapixel sensor is featured on both the rear and front. What makes the Nubia N1 special is the huge 5,000mAh battery encased within the device, and it allows users to use it as a battery pack for other smartphones, charging other devices with an OTG cable. The Nubia N1 comes with the same connectivity options as the Nubia Z11, and it also packs a fingerprint sensor on the rear. As for pricing and availability, the Nubia N1 is priced at Rs. 11,999 ($177) and will be available exclusively from Amazon India. The Nubia N1 will be available in Gold and Silver colors.
