Samsung’s Quantum Dot TV sets are among the top on the market, with a revolutionary sort of display technology that allows for insane refresh rates at high resolutions without tearing, and some seriously great color reproduction; it’s only natural that the technology would eventually find its way into PC monitors, and Samsung plans to show some off at CES 2017. The headliner among the curved Quantum Dot models on show will be the new CH711, with massive 27 and 31.5 inch options available. This monitor is super-wide, sharply curved, boasts sRGB color gamut reproduction around 125%, and is geared for fast response times, making its 2,560 x 1,440 resolution great for delivering games or media with stunning color accuracy and detail, or precise and varied workloads displayed all at once and more than fast enough to keep up with even the quickest typing fingers. The whole package boasts a 360 degree design that’s adjustable to fit just about any use case and provide perfect viewing angles, whether it’s up on a desk in a cubicle, in an array at a LAN party, or serenely serving as the centerpiece in a well-balanced home office setup.
Samsung’s booth at CES will feature multiple Quantum Dot monitors in a few different models, including the already released 24 and 27 inch CFG70 models, built for gaming with super fast response times, and the sharply curved CF791, built for efficient workflow management on a super wide panel that can hold every window one will need for work at a given moment and deliver excruciating detail in all of them.
Samsung’s upcoming high-resolution monitors will also make a showing. The slim UH750, coming in at a massive 28 inches, sports narrow bezels and a 1 millisecond response time, making it the perfect competitive gaming machine. The SH580, on the other hand, will come in 23.8 and 27 inch models, a bezel-free, adjustable design that can be swiveled about for the best viewing angles and comfort. Attendees will be able to get their game on with a number of modern titles to see the CFG70 monitors in action, to boot. All of the magic will be happening at booth #15006 in the central hall at CES.
