The ZUK Edge was one of the most leaked smartphones in the last couple of weeks, and the company has just announced the device. The ZUK Edge is ZUK’s all-new flagship, and it’s exactly what we were expecting, the rumors and leaks were spot on. This smartphone comes with really thin bezels all around, it comes with an 86.4% screen-to-body ratio, and its specifications are truly high-end. The ZUK Edge also sports a really narrow frame, and it looks really sleek overall.
The ZUK Edge features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. The phone comes in both 4GB and 6GB RAM flavors, and 64GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor fuels this smartphone, and as you all know, this is one of the most powerful SoCs out there at the moment, if not the most powerful one. On the back of the ZUK Edge, you’ll be able to find a 13-megapixel camera (1.34um pixel size, PDAF, CAF, f/2.2 aperture), along with the LED flash, while an 8-megapixel snapper (ISOCELL sensor, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture) is placed on the front side of this smartphone. The 3,100mAh battery is included on the inside, and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging is also a part of this package. Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on the ZUK Edge, along with the company’s ZUI 2.5 user interface. There are two SIM card slots on the inside of this phone, and you do get the Dirac HD Sound and Hi-Fi audio here as well. The phone also packs in a fingerprint scanner which is placed below the display, a heart rate sensor, a UV sensor and an altimeter. The ZUK Edge measures 142.9 x 74.5 x 7.68mm, while it weighs 160 grams.
ZUK’s all-new flagship comes in Titanium Black and Ceramic White color variants, both of which you can check out in the gallery down below. The 4GB RAM variant of the device is priced at 2,299 Yuan ($330), while the 4GB RAM model costs 2,499 Yuan ($360) in China. ZUK has released a special edition ZUK Edge as well, a device that is called the ZUK Edge L, this is basically a custom Lee Min Ho version which has identical parameters to the regular model.
