Samsung’s Galaxy C5 Pro leaked recently and now it is the turn of its bigger stable-mate, the Galaxy C7 Pro, to have its alleged live images splashed all over the internet. The device is expected to be launched in China this month, and much of its tech specs have already been doing the rounds of the online tech media for some time. As for this new leak, we get to see at least nine different images that are said to depict the Galaxy C7 Pro in Gold. The images show off what’s believed to be the upcoming Samsung mid-ranger in all its glory. While some of the photographs are pixelated at the edges, the others are clear, high-resolution snaps that give us a fairly decent idea about what the upcoming handset may look like.
The Galaxy C7 Pro will be the successor to the original Galaxy C7 that was launched last year in China. The device is expected to come with some minor upgrades over the original, including a slightly newer processor. However, if the leaked images are anything to go by, the upcoming device will bring at least one crucial change to the Galaxy C lineup. The Galaxy C7 Pro will apparently sport a USB Type-C port instead of the micro-USB port that is found on the first-generation Galaxy C smartphones. Another thing you might notice is that one of the images also seem to show what looks like a 3.5mm audio port. That will certainly be a welcome addition for many, given that the decades-old technology is slowly losing favor with smartphone manufacturers ever since Apple decided to do away with it on the latest iPhones.
While the legitimacy of this latest leak is yet to be verified, the images do seem to depict a smartphone that looks straight out of the Samsung lineup for the most part. From the square camera housing on the back to the oblong Home button, everything on the phablet seems to scream ‘Samsung Design Language’. Also, the C7 Pro and C5 Pro are both rumored to launch in Gold (along with Pink and Blue), so that checks out as well. Either way, it’s only a matter of time now before Samsung makes this device public. In case you’re wondering about its pricing, recent rumors have claimed that it will come with an asking price of 2,799 Yuan (around $405), while the Galaxy C5 Pro will apparently sport a 2,399 Yuan (around $350) price-tag.
