The price-tags of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro smartphones have allegedly leaked online. According to a post on Weibo earlier today, the Galaxy C5 Pro will be priced at 2,399 Yuan (around $350) while the larger Galaxy C7 Pro will come with an asking price of 2,799 Yuan (around $405). The original Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 handsets that were launched last year by Samsung, were restricted to the Chinese market for the most part, and there’s no reason to believe that things will be different this time around. The two devices are expected to be launched later this month, and according to reports, will be offered in Pink, Blue and Gold.
Taking a quick look at some of the rumored hardware specs of the two upcoming mid-rangers from Samsung, the Galaxy C5 Pro will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626. It will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and carry a 3,000 mAh battery. The device is said to measure 145.7 mm in length, 71.4 mm in width and 6.95 mm in thickness. As for the Galaxy C7 Pro, it is said to feature a larger 5.7-inch AMOLED display, although the resolution of the panel will still ‘only’ be Full HD. It too, will be powered by the Snapdragon 626 chip, which will have 4GB of RAM for company. Internal storage will stay put at 64GB, although both devices will have microSD card slots for capacity expansion.
The similarity between the two devices don’t stop there either. Imaging options on the Galaxy C5 Pro and the Galaxy C7 Pro will also be fairly similar, at least as far as the rumored spec sheets are concerned. Both devices are expected to come with 16-megapixel cameras on the front and back, although it’s not yet known if they’ll sport the exact same sensors. Either way, the battery capacity is one of the few areas of difference between the two handsets, with the larger device getting a suitably larger battery in the form of a 3,300 mAh unit. The Galaxy C7 Pro will measure 156.5 mm in length, 77.2 mm in width and 7.0 mm in thickness and weigh 170 grams.
