The Xiaomi Mi 5 was quite a success for Xiaomi this year, and the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi 6 just surfaced in China. The device popped up on Master Lu’s benchmarking site, following its AnTuTu listing. This listing could be fake (and probably is), so do keep that in mind, but according to the provided info, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be a real beast of a smartphone, which was to be expected considering this is the company’s flagship smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 scored 1,103,215 points in this benchmark, though do keep in mind that Master Lu’s benchmarking tool is significantly different than any other out there, which is why the numbers are completely different. We don’t have all that much info as to how this benchmarking tool functions, but for comparison’s sake, the Galaxy S7 managed to score 103,692 points about a year ago. Something doesn’t add up? Well, it certainly does not, because according to this info, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is 10 times more powerful than the Galaxy S7, and that is simply impossible. Xiaomi Mi 6’s CPU scored 224,855 points on its own according to this info, and that simply cannot be. As already mentioned, we don’t really have all that much info when Master Lu’s benchmarking tool is concerned, so it is possible that it has a completely different ranking system and what not, but truth be told, chances are this listing is fake, as this result is simply unbelievable.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 popped up on AnTuTu quite recently with the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, which is almost certainly the chip that will fuel Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship. According to AnTuTu’s benchmarking info, the Xiaomi Mi 6 managed to score 210,329 points, which is, needless to say, a lot. We don’t have all that much info when it comes to the Xiaomi Mi 6, aside from the fact that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 SoC. Rumors have been saying that the device will look like a smaller variant of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, which suggests that it will not only sport a physical home button below the display, just like the Xiaomi Mi 6, but it will also have a curved display on its sides. It is also possible that it will come with a glass back, just like the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
