Galaxy C5 Pro & Galaxy C9 Pro Pass Through The FCC

Both the Galaxy C5 Pro and the Galaxy C9 Pro have paid a visit to the FCC. The Galaxy C5 Pro is expected to arrive soon, though it’s still not known when exactly, while the Galaxy C9 Pro had been announced back in October in China. Samsung had actually confirmed that the Galaxy C9 Pro will land on January 27th in India, it will become available for a pre-order. Well, it seems like both of these devices might get international variants, read on.

The Galaxy C9 Pro which paid a visit to the FCC bears the SM-C900F model number, and the FCC is, as you probably already know, a US-based official certification authority. So, all in all, it seems like this could be an international variant of the phone which will land in the US, and quite possibly some other regions. The Galaxy C9 Pro is quite a powerful smartphone, and the first Samsung-branded device with 6GB of RAM, so it makes sense Samsung wants to launch it outside of China, even though it’s technically a mid-range smartphone, mainly due to its SoC, but we’ll talk more about its specs in a minute. The Galaxy C5 Pro, on the other hand, has been leaking for a while now, and the FCC listing confirms that the phone will ship with a 3,000mAh battery. Now, the Galaxy C5 Pro will probably launch in China first, as it is made primarily for the Chinese market, not to mention it was already certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC). This handset, could, however, land in the US as well, which is why it stopped by the FCC as well.

The Galaxy C9 Pro features a 6-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, while it comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 653 64-bit octa-core SoC, while it comes with the Adreno 510 GPU. The 16-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone, while you’ll find a 16-megapixel snapper on the phone’s front side as well, and a 4,000mAh battery is also included in the package. The Galaxy C5 Pro will, according to TENAA, sport a 5.2-inch display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 626 64-bit octa-core processor, and it will come with a 16-megapixel shooter on both its front and back sides.
