Galaxy C9 Pro With 6GB Of RAM To Launch In India Soon

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is on its way to India and a number of other Asian countries it seems. This smartphone has been available in China only thus far, but according to the source, it will be launching in India soon, while a couple of other Asian countries are in Samsung plans as well. If the info is accurate, the phone will also launch in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Now, do keep in mind that Samsung did not confirm any of this info, so take it with a grain of salt. In any case, the phone is expected to become available in all those markets before the end of this month, and it is possible India will be first in line to get the device. It took Samsung around four months to bring the Galaxy A9 Pro to India following its launch in China, and the Galaxy C9 Pro was introduced back in October, so if the company plans to mirror their previous steps, then the Galaxy C9 Pro will land in India by the end of January. In addition to that, the company is expected to release the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro in China before the end of this month as well, and the Korea-based tech giant had recently announced their 2017 Galaxy A lineup of smartphones, the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7.

Now, the Galaxy C9 Pro is actually quite a compelling smartphone, this is the first Samsung-branded handset to ship with 6GB of RAM, and yet, it’s not a flagship phone. The Galaxy C9 Pro is made out of metal, it sports a 6-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 653 64-bit octa-core SoC, which is Qualcomm’s mid-range processor. The 16-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of the Galaxy C9 Pro, and the phone’s front-facing camera also hosts a 16-megapixel sensor, though the rear-facing camera on the device is far more capable. The device comes with 64GB of expandable internal storage, and a 4,000mAh battery (quick charging included) is included here as well, and it is not removable. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on this phablet, and Samsung’s UI is placed on top of it.
