Leak: Press Renders & Specs For The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus

A number of press renders of the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus have now leaked online showing off much of the design of the upcoming tablet. Along with the images, the report which first published the images is also looking to confirm pretty much all of the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus specs.

In terms of the latest specs from this new leak, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus will be a tablet that comes packing an 8-inch WUXGA display which employs a 1920 x 1200 resolution. Inside, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is said to come loaded with 3GB RAM and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor (clocking at 2.0 GHz). Storage will be set at 16GB although it is stated that the storage will be expandable, with support for microSD cards up to 128GB included. Cameras on offer consist of an 8-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. While additional features are listed to include an IP52 dust and water-resistant certification, a 4,250 mAh battery, Dolby Atmos speakers, and Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) out of the box.

Of course, this is not the first time that much of the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus specs have leaked online as only yesterday the tablet was spotted being benchmarked on Geekbench, which also confirmed a number of the same specs. In fact, much of the specs stated here are in line with rumors that have dated as far back as September 2016 and so it does seem highly likely that the specs listed are correct. Although, the one aspect that this latest leak has not provided any firm information on is the likely price of the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus, other than stated that it will not cost “more than €150” in Europe. Likewise, there is no firm indication of whether Lenovo will formerly introduce the Tab3 8 Plus at this year’s MWC event in Barcelona, although that is largely the suggestion that has been made of late. Either way, the report does confirm that the Tab3 8 Plus will be initially available in both a Wi-Fi and an LTE version, as well as in a choice of color with both a silver and blue model becoming available. Both of which you can take a closer look at in the gallery below.
