Meizu PRO 7 Leaks With A Curved Display, Physical Home Key

The Meizu PRO 7 just surfaced online in a new leaked image. As you can see, we get to check out the white variant of the Meizu PRO 7, and as a number of rumors suggested, the device comes with a curved display. The company’s mBack multifunctional physical home key is placed below the phone’s display, and it seems like the phone has some bezel on the sides in form of black bars despite the fact its display is curved on both its left and right side.

Meizu’s Flyme 6 UI seems to be running on this smartphone, though it seems to contain some additional features which we did not see before, at least based on the side bar you’ll notice on the left. This is, presumably, a bar with various customizable options which you can call upon by swiping from the device’s left side, from left to right, though it will probably be available on the other side as well, or we’ll at least get the option to choose on which side do we want it to be available on. We’ve already seen such a feature on some other devices, on the Galaxy S7 Edge, for example, though we’re only presuming that it will function similarly on the Meizu PRO 7. This phone seems to sport a metallic trim, though it is still unknown whether this is aluminum or perhaps something tougher than aluminum, like some sort of a titanium alloy. For those of you who don’t know, the alleged Meizu PRO 7 surfaced earlier today in a number of seemingly official promo images, and the source claimed that the phone is made out of titanium, which is interesting.

The Meizu PRO 7 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch display, and even though a recent rumor suggested we can expect to see a 4K panel here, that’s highly unlikely, but you can expect to get a QHD (2560 x 1440) display on the Meizu PRO 7. The phone will, allegedly, ship with 4GB / 6GB / 8GB of RAM and sport a 12-megapixel camera on the back. If a rumor from earlier today is accurate, that camera will pack in Sony’s IMX362 sensor, which is a really good sensor and is capable of producing nice images, combined with the right software, of course. Android Marshmallow or Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the Meizu PRO 7, and on top of it, you’ll get Meizu’s Flyme 6 UI. MediaTek’s Helio X30 64-bit deca-core processor is rumored to be included in this package, but we’ll see what happens once Meizu introduces their new flagship, which will probably happen in the next couple of months.
