The OPPO Find 9 concept video has surfaced, and it shows off a rather sleek-looking smartphone. Do keep in mind this is a third-party concept video which comes from DBS Designing Team, and has nothing to do with the final product. This video is only supposed to show off a nice looking design, even though this design will almost certainly never become a reality, at least not this exact one.
The OPPO Find 9 that is being showcased in the video down below sports a 5.5-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, and it actually packs in a 5,000mAh battery. No, this phone is incredibly thin, so such a battery pack would not fit inside of it, but that’s not the point here, this is just a concept design. The source also lists OPPO’s VOOC Fast Charging here, and a 16-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this smartphone. The concept OPPO Find 9 also comes with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, in case you were wondering. Interestingly enough, the designers have decided to include Android 8.0 here, and on top of it, they listed OPPO’s Find OS, of course.
This smartphone has extremely thin bezels, and the company’s branding is placed below its display. Below the ‘OPPO’ branding, you’ll get to see the LED strip that is placed there, the so-called ‘Skyline Notification’, and it actually looks really nice in this video clip. The phone seems to sport a metallic trim, and there are three on-screen buttons showcased in this video as well. Interestingly enough, these seem to be the menu, home and back keys, at least based on the icon design. The OPPO Find 9 is expected to launch sometime this year, hopefully in the first half of the year, as a successor to the OPPO Find 7 which was announced way back in March 2014. The OPPO Find 9 will probably sport a rather large display, at least 5.7 inches in size, and you can expect it to come with high-end specifications as well. The OPPO Find 9 definitely won’t look like the phone that was showcased in the aforementioned concept video, but who knows, it might sport a similar shape at the very least.
