The OPPO Find 9 seems to be coming soon, and according to a new rumor that surfaced in China, OPPO’s new flagship will launch in March. Previous rumors suggested that the device will land in the first half of this year as a successor to the OPPO Find 7 which was announced way back in March 2014, and if the OPPO Find 9 launches in March, that means OPPO decided to wait for 3 full years in order to release a successor to the flagship phablet from the ‘Find’ series of devices.
A ton of OPPO Find 9 rumors and leaks surfaced in the last couple of years actually, as the phone started leaking way back in 2014. More recent rumors suggested that the device might arrive in both Snapdragon 653 and Snapdragon 835 variants, and that it will ship with 4GB and 6GB of RAM, respectively. The 4GB RAM variant is said to come with 64GB of internal storage, while the 6GB RAM model will ship with 128GB of storage, if rumors are to be believed. The OPPO Find 9 will, allegedly, feature a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, and a 4,100mAh battery will also be a part of the package, along with OPPO’s VOOC Flash Charge fast charging solution, and their fast charging tech is one of the fastest ones out there. A 21-megapixel camera will be placed on the back of the OPPO Find 9, and a 16-megapixel snapper will be available on the phone’s front side. Android 7.0 Nougat will, probably, come pre-installed on the OPPO Find 9, and on top of it, you’ll get OPPO’s Find OS. A fingerprint scanner will also be included in this package, and the same goes for 4G LTE connectivity.
The OPPO Find 9’s design did not leak for quite some time now, but we did see some concept renders quite recently. In any case, the Snapdragon 835 variant of the OPPO Find 9 will cost 3,999 Yuan ($580), at least if the most recent rumors are to be believed. The OPPO R9 and OPPO R9 Plus have both been quite successful for the company every since they were announced last year, though the OPPO Find 9 would probably boost OPPO’s sales even more, considering this would be the company’s all-new flagship smartphone and would sit above the OPPO R9 and OPPO R9 Plus.
