Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 & A7 (2017) Already Available In Russia

The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) are already available to buy in Russia. This is the latest information coming through from a new report out of Russia which details that a number of stores in the country are already selling the latest Samsung Galaxy range. Which essentially makes Russia the first country in which the trio of devices have gone on sale, properly.

In terms of the prices, the 2017 version of the Samsung Galaxy A3 is listed to be selling for 22,990 rubles, which works out to be $387. While the 2017 Samsung Galaxy A5 is currently available to buy for 27,990 rubles (approximately $471) and the 2017 Samsung Galaxy A7 will currently cost you 32,990 rubles ($555). Based on the information coming through, it does seems as though not all stores are selling the smartphones (or at least, not all stores are selling all of the smartphones) with the report detailing that stores are deciding for themselves as to when to open sales or just to accept pre-orders in the meantime. Either way, the report is also confirming that orders have already started being fulfilled with shipments en route to customers.

Samsung first announced the Galaxy A range for 2017 back at the start of January and just before the beginning of CES 2017. At the time, the announcement detailed that Asian markets would be the first to see the devices going on sale and that was scheduled to begin by the end of January. With Samsung also confirming that the three devices would make their way to Europe at some point in early February. Which does mean that if the current report is correct, then Russia has become the first region to not only start selling the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7, but also to start shipping them. Although, it is likely that other countries and areas will follow suit soon enough. That is, in Asia and Europe at least, as while it is has been reported that (some of) the Galaxy A line will go on sale in Canada, it has also been reported that they will not be available to buy in the US.
