Samsung Will Unveil A New Galaxy Product On Feb 26th.

Samsung will unveil a new Galaxy Product on February 26th as they have just officially announced a press conference for that day and have also begun sending out press invites for the event. While Samsung has already officially confirmed that the Galaxy S8 will not be unveiled at Mobile World Congress this year, they still have other Galaxy products in the works that are set for a launch in 2017, and one of those is said to be the Galaxy Tab S3. Samsung does not confirm what the device is that they plan to announce, but there is a good chance that the next tablet in their Galaxy Tab S line is the device that they’re referring to.

A teaser image which Samsung has added into their email invites for the press conference displays the outline of a device and by the looks of it the image is depicting a view of it from the top edge looking down to the bottom edge, as there appears to be a home button worked in. The outline also seems to be fairly wide which also suggests that this is the outline of a tablet and not a smartphone.

This paired with the recent rumors that Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy Tab S3 during Mobile World Congress at the end of next month seems to point heavily towards the tablet making its first official appearance. That same rumor also included leaked specs and pricing for the tablet, and if the leak turns out to be accurate then the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will come with a 9.6-inch Quad HD display as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM, and it will be available in both Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE capable models. In regards to the cost, the Galaxy Tab S3 is rumored to cost about 700,000 won when it launches in Korea, which would be about $600 USD. That cost is certainly higher than the price of the Galaxy Tab S2 when it launched, so it’s also possible that the official U.S. pricing will be less than $600, and it may even be closer to the cost of its predecessor. Samsung will also have other devices to show off as they mention that people will be able to “meet the new Galaxy products” at the event. Samsung will also live stream the press conference on their website at 7PM local time in Barcelona.
