Soft Gold OnePlus 3T Is Now Available For Purchase

The Soft Gold OnePlus 3T is now available for purchase. The company had announced last year that the OnePlus 3T Soft Gold variant will arrive in early 2017, and the company had recently confirmed that the device will become available on January 6th. Well, it’s here now, and you can purchase it through the company’s official website. We’ve confirmed that the device can now be purchased both in the US and Europe, but it should be available for all of you who have access to OnePlus’ webshop, in other words, to all consumers who live in a country to which OnePlus ships their products directly.

The Soft Gold OnePlus 3T is identical to the other variant that is available, the Gunmetal option. The Gunmetal OnePlus 3T has been available for purchase for quite some time now, as OnePlus made it available soon after the device launched. The Soft Gold OnePlus 3T variant comes with 64GB of storage, the company did not make the 128GB Soft Gold OnePlus 3T model, while the Gunmetal variant is available in both 64GB and 128GB storage flavors. The device is priced at $439 in the US, while it costs €439 in Europe, same as the 64GB storage variant of the Gunmetal OnePlus 3T. The OnePlus 3T is the second flagship OnePlus announced in 2016, a new variant of the OnePlus 3, the two devices are actually identical in terms of the design, though there are some differences on the inside, as the OnePlus 3T is a more powerful device. The OnePlus 3T comes with a more powerful SoC, larger battery, better front-facing camera and a sapphire protection for its main camera.

The OnePlus 3T sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Optic AMOLED display, and the device is made out of metal. Its fingerprint scanner is placed below the display, and that button also serves as a capacitive home key. The OnePlus 3T ships with 6GB of RAM and it features a 3,400mAh battery which is not removable. Speaking of which, you’re also getting OnePlus’ Dash Charge quick charging here, and we’re still not sure whether the device ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow or Android 7.0 Nougat, but if it arrives with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, you’ll be able to update it to Android 7.0 Nougat, as the company had started seeding the update to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T owners. In any case, you’ll be getting OnePlus’ OxygenOS on top of Android, of course.
