Black With Gold Nubia N1 Launched In India For $185

ZTE has launched its latest smartphone in India today, and it comes in the form of a Black with Gold Nubia N1. The gold color can be seen around the fingerprint scanner and also on the Nubia logo of the device, giving it a rather premium look. The Black with Gold Nubia N1 costs Rs. 12,499 ($185) and will be available from Amazon India. While the Nubia N1 was previously launched in the country back in December, ZTE only launched a silver and a gold version of the device then. While this Nubia N1 variant may be of a different color, the internals remain the same.

The Nubia N1, is Nubia’s mid-range offering for the Indian smartphone market. The device packs a 5.5-inch Full HD display and it is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with a Mali T860 GPU to handle graphics. Storage-wise, it packs 3GB of RAM and comes in only one storage variant, a 64GB storage option. When the Nubia N1 was first launched in India, a 32GB storage variant was available though it was only available for the silver version of the device.. A micro SD card slot has been included on board the device, allowing users to expand the storage up to 128GB. When it comes to cameras, a 13-megapixel sensor is featured on both the rear and front. What makes the Nubia N1 special is the huge 5,000mAh battery encased within the device, and it allows users to use it as a battery pack for other smartphones, charging other devices with an OTG cable.  This dual SIM device comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and comes packed with a host of connectivity options including 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C port. For software, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Nubia UI 4.0 on top of it.

Back in December of 2016, the Nubia N1 was launched alongside the Nubia Z11 in India. The Nubia N1 is ZTE’s mid-range offering while the Nubia Z11 is the company’s flagship device. It should also be noted that the Nubia N1 was originally launched in China, though even then, the Black with Gold variant was not available.
