HTC Is Now Selling The U Play & The U Ultra In The UK

HTC is now selling the U Play and the U Ultra in the UK and it can officially be picked up from multiple retailers. This includes HTC’s own UK website, which is likely to be where a good number of consumers go to pick up either device, but for those who prefer to pick things up from a different retailer, both Carphone Warehouse and Clove will be selling the phones as will Unlocked Mobiles. Both devices are only up for pre-order at the moment with devices expected to ship on March 1st to buyers. The HTC U Ultra has also launched this month in Taiwan as it was reported last month that the phone would be releasing in HTC’s home country.

Those who are planning to pick up either device will be able to pay for their pre-orders from today at any of the above listed retail options, though oddly enough both devices will be slightly different costs from each retailer. Both the HTC U Play and HTC U Ultra will be the lowest at Unlocked Mobiles which is selling the U Play for £394.98 and the U Ultra for £614.98. From there it goes next to Clove which is selling the U Play for £394.99 and the U Ultra for £620. HTC’s UK website has the U Play for £399 or the U Ultra for £649. Lastly, there’s Carphone Warehouse which is selling each device for the most expensive cost, which is £469.99 for the U Play, or there’s the U Ultra for £649.99.

While it might seem just a little bit weird that Carphone Warehouse has the HTC U Play and the HTC U Ultra for a bit more than the others that are listed here, it’s also worth noting that they are offering each phone for free with a two-year contract for those who are willing to sign up for the agreement with service, and plans are starting at around £28 per month for the U Play, or around £50.99 per month for the U Ultra. The HTC U Play and HTC U Ultra will each be available in Black, White, Pink, and Blue, although stock of some colors may be limited or exclusive to some retailers. HTC’s UK website for example only has the White, Blue, and Black models of the HTC U Play, while they only offer Black, and Blue for the U Ultra. Carphone Warehouse on the other hand has all four options for both phones.
