LG G6 Poses Next To The LG G5 In A Newly Leaked Image

The LG G6 will be announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress which kicks off soon, and a new image of the device has just surfaced. If you take a look at the image above, you’ll get to see the alleged LG G6 next to its predecessor, the LG G5. As you can see, the LG G6 is quite different than its predecessor in terms of the design, its bezels are considerably thinner, and LG decided to go with a completely new design this time around it seems, mainly because the LG G5 failed in terms of sales.

This design was already leaked a number of times, and judging by the sheer amount of leaks we’ve seen, this is quite probably LG’s final design for their upcoming flagship. Interestingly enough, we don’t really get to see the power / lock key on the right-hand side of this smartphone, which suggests that it will be located on the back of the device. The phone’s volume rocker keys are placed on the left side, and the device comes with a curved display corners, and it seems like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will also ship with such, rounded display. The LG G6 will be made out of metal, and it will not be (semi-)modular like its predecessor, while you can expect to see two camera sensors on the back of this smartphone, in a similar setup as LG used on the LG G5 and LG V20.

The LG G6 will, if rumors are to be believed, sport a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, along with 4GB / 6GB of RAM, while a couple of different storage variants will be available as well. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor, along with the Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The LG G6 will ship with a Quad DAC for audio, and Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on the phone, along with the company’s custom UI which will be placed on top of it. Two 13-megapixel cameras will, probably, be included on the back of this phone, and the device’s fingerprint scanner will also be placed there. The LG G6 will be announced on February 26th, so stay tuned.
