A new Meizu PRO 7 leak just popped up, and this time around, the information comes from India. The alleged device surfaced on India-based retailer’s site, as you can see in an image down below, and as part of this listing, we not only get to see specifications of the Meizu PRO 7, but also its possible release date and pricing. The device itself is also pictured in this listing, though the image is quite small, so we don’t get to see that many details, but the device that is pictured here runs Meizu’s Flyme OS, and it has no bezel on the sides, while its display also seems to be curved on the sides.
If this information is to be believed, then the Meizu PRO 7 will sport a 5.6-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Meizu PRO 7 will be fueled by an octa-core SoC running at 2.5GHz, while it will ship with a 3,000mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner will also be a part of this package, and it will be located below the phone’s display, as part of the device’s home key, which will be included on this handset if the info is accurate. It makes sense, though, mainly considering Meizu has been releasing devices with their multifunctional mBack home key for quite some time now, and that home key is an integral part of their Flyme UI as it serves as both a back key and a home key. A 21-megapixel camera will be located on the back of this smartphone, and an 8-megapixel shooter will be included on its front side. This listing also mentioned that the phone will support fast charging, and it will not be waterproof. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the device if the source’s info is accurate, and you’ll also get two SIM card slots and 4G LTE support.
If the source is to be believed, the Meizu PRO 7 will cost Rs. 31,999 ($473), and it will launch on February 20th, which is less than a month away. It’s worth noting that the Meizu PRO 7 actually surfaced yesterday in a real life image, and the phone that surfaced actually resembles the device that we’re looking at today. Truth be told, this listing could be fake, of course, and it seems a bit early for Meizu to introduce this phone on February 20th, but we’ll see what happens.
