Samsung released six new video ads promoting the Galaxy Tab S3 mere hours after the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer announced its latest and greatest Android tablet at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. The promos showcase the design of the Galaxy Tab S3, as well as its various accessories like the S Pen and the Book Cover. One clip is focused on the Samsung Game Launcher that comes pre-installed on the company’s new tablet. From the looks of it, the app is identical to the one that shipped with the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, as well as the Galaxy Note 7. The Game Launcher on the Galaxy Tab S3 allows users to quickly record screenshots and gameplay with or without the front camera feed and sound, mute any notifications and calls while gaming, and even lock their system keys while they’re playing games.
Another promo recently posted by Samsung on YouTube showcases the quad-speakers of the Galaxy Tab S3 which have been tuned by AKG, an Austrian subsidiary of Harman International Industries that Samsung is currently trying to acquire. The latest addition to the Galaxy Tab family marks the return of stereo speakers that were featured on the 2014 Galaxy Tab S but have been missing from the lineup ever since. You can see all of the new videos promoting the Galaxy Tab S3 and its accessories below.
Overall, the Galaxy Tab S3 seems like a solid device that will likely attract the attention of many consumers that will be on the lookout for a new Android tablet this spring. Its spec sheet includes a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, and 4GB of RAM, as well as 32GB of storage space and a microSD card slot. All of that hardware is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with fast charging support, and the entire package will be hitting the market this spring with prices starting at €679 for the Wi-Fi model. There’s still no word on how much the Galaxy Tab S3 will cost in the United States, but more information on the matter will likely be available shortly. In the meantime, enjoy the new promotional videos for Samsung’s most powerful Android tablet to date.
