Sony has released four new promotional ads on YouTube, to showcase its latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZ Premium. The first ad is titled “Everything Becomes Wow”, and it basically shows off the two colors the device will be available in, which are Luminous Chrome and Deepsea Black. The frame then transitions to the new Motion Eye Camera found on the Xperia XZ Premium, which allows videos to be shot in “Super Slow Motion” at 960 frames per second, the first in a smartphone. Apart from those features, “Predictive Capture” is also available, which allows the camera to detect motion and snap four pictures before the shutter button is tapped. On top of that, the ad also shows off the 4K HDR display which is found on the device, also a first for a smartphone.
The second ad is entitled “4K HDR on Xperia XZ Premium – see the difference”, and as the name suggests, the ad emphasizes on the display used on the smartphone. According to Sony, they have sourced the technology from BRAVIA to use in their latest smartphone. With the new display, users will get more contrast, color and detail, resulting in a very vibrant display in general. Whites are brighter now, while blacks are deeper, and color has been enriched by the display. As for the third ad, it is called “Xperia XZ Premium – the all-new Motion Eye camera”, and it details the camera sensor found on the device. This Exmor RS sensor happens to be the world’s first memory stacked image sensor in a smartphone, and it comes with pixels which are 19 percent bigger. This allows enhanced performance in low-light conditions, resulting in images which are 19 percent brighter, with 50 percent less noise. The ad also promotes the Super Slow Motion feature and Predictive Capture mode.
For the fourth ad, Sony compiled a few videos which were captured with the Super Slow Motion feature found on the Xperia XZ Premium. The ad is titled “Shooting in Super slow motion with Xperia XZ Premium”, and clips in the ad range from a cat landing on its four legs, to a skateboarder performing tricks in colored powder.
