The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 got disassembled in a newly surfaced video. Fonearena decided to disassemble Xiaomi’s highly popular mid-ranger in order to show us all what lies on the inside, and possibly even help some of you fix your broken Redmi Note 4 unit, if that’s something you need to do, of course. You can check out the whole teardown process in an embedded video, and we’ve also included a number of images in the gallery down below, just in case you need to check out specific parts of the device.
Do keep in mind that this is a Snapdragon variant of the Redmi Note 4, not the MediaTek model. For those of you who are not aware of this, MediaTek variant of the Redmi Note 4 launched last year in China, while the Snapdragon-powered handset got announced in India earlier this month. The first thing you need to do when disassembling the Redmi Note 4, is to remove its SIM card tray. After that, you’ll need to use a slim tool in order to open its back cover, considering there are no visible screws on the outside of the device. The next step is removing all the screws, and the USB assembly, after which you’ll get access to a number of other parts of the Redmi Note 4, and will need to follow the guidelines provided by the source carefully if you’d like to properly disassemble your device. You can follow the same procedure to put it back together, but in reverse, of course.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is quite popular mainly due to its affordable price tag and compelling spec sheet. This phone is made out of metal, and it features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display. The device also packs in 2GB / 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable internal storage. A 13-megapixel camera is placed on the back of the Redmi Note 4, and a 5-megapixel shooter can be found on its front side. A 4,100mAh battery is also included here, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the Redmi Note 4 with the company’s MIUI 8 OS on top of it. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this phone, along with the Adreno 506 GPU.
