Video: Nice-Looking OnePlus 5 Concept Phone & Specs Surface

We’ve seen a number of nicely designed smartphone concept creations lately, and a new one just surfaced, let’s take a look at the OnePlus 5 concept design. If you take a look at the embedded video down below, you’ll get to see a OnePlus 5 concept design by ‘Concept creator’, which is a YouTube channel dedicated to smartphone concept designs. This channel recently shared the Huawei P10 concept design, and this time around we get to see the OnePlus 5, and the source seems to think that this will be a successor to the OnePlus 5, which means that the company might skip the OnePlus 4 naming. This might sound odd, but the number 4 is considered to be unlucky in China, so who knows.

As you can see by looking at the provided video and images, this imaginary smartphone is made out of metal. The device comes with chamfered edges, and a dual camera setup on the back. In between two cameras on the phone’s back, you’ll notice the dual-LED, dual-tone flash, and below the camera sensors sits OnePlus’ logo. The sound switch / slider makes a comeback here, as is it once again located on the left-hand side of the device, and so is the device’s volume rocker. The power / lock key sits on the right-hand side of this smartphone, and the device also offers an LED notification light up front. The Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of this concept OnePlus 5 smartphone, and next to it sits a loudspeaker. It is also worth mentioning that this smartphone sports a physical camera key as well, and it’s place in the lower portion of the phone’s right-hand side. The source shown off this smartphone in several color variants, Midnight Black, Candy Red and Pearl White.

Now, the creator of this concept design also envisioned its specifications. According to the source, this phone sports a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, along with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB / 128GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 540 GPU. On the back of the device sit two camera sensors, a 16-megapixel and 12-megapixel ones, while an 8-megapixel snapper can be found on the front side of this smartphone. A 4,000mAh battery is also a part of the package, and Android 7.0 Nougat (even though the source mentions Android 7.01 Nougat for some reason) comes pre-installed on the device, along with the company’s OxygenOS 4.0 UI.
