VIZIO Intros New SmartCast TVs With Chromecast Built-In

VIZIO has announced the arrival of its 2017 VIZIO SmartCast E-Series. This is a range of TVs which looks to offer some of the most up to date features, while maintaining a very competitive pricing structure. For instance, in addition to your now typical 4K Ultra HD support, these TVs also come with Chromecast built-in. Offering owners an easier way to consume content from a variety of Cast-supported apps. VIZIO also notes that this range of TVs is compatible with the VIZIO SmartCast app, which allows for control from any room, the ability to search for content from multiple devices, and compatibility with the likes of the Google Assistant and Google Home.

However that is not all. As well as coming with 4K support, the largest options also come with HDR10 support, which is literally the big thing right now. Although as to be expected, the largest TVs do come with a fairly hefty price tag attached. Although, certainly no more than what you might find from similar options from alternate manufacturers. Speaking of the prices, the non-HDR and more affordable options, range from the smallest 32-inch model up to a 50-inch model and break down as $209.99 for the 32-inch, $399.99 for the 43-inch and $469.99 for the 50-inch TV. Although it is worth noting that the 32-inch TV does not come with Ultra HD support and instead is Full HD. From here on, the rest of the models come sporting HDR10 support and range from 55-inches in size, up to 80-inches. In terms of the prices, the 55-inch model is set to cost $549.99, the 60-inch model will be priced at $749.99, the 65-inch at $899.99 and the 70-inch at $1,299.99. While the 75-inch is priced at $1,999.99 and the 80-inch will cost you $3,399.99 to buy.

In terms of availability, VIZIO has confirmed that the two largest SmartCast E-Series TVs, the 75 inch and 80-inch models are now available to buy directly from VIZIO. While VIZIO has yet to confirm when the rest of the SmartCast E-Series will become available, the company has confirmed that they will be available to buy from a number of retailers, including Best Buy, Costco, Walmart and Sam’s Club.
