A Bunch Of Alleged Galaxy S8 Wallpapers Surface

It seems like Galaxy S8’s wallpapers just leaked, though it is quite possible these are fake. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see five new wallpapers. The source claims that these wallpapers will be available in the Galaxy S8 once the phone launches, but their aspect ratio seems to be off. These images come with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which essentially means we’re looking at a 16:9 aspect ratio, and it is possible that the Galaxy S8 will have a slightly different aspect ratio, at least based on the leaked image and how long its display seems.

In any case, the available wallpapers look rather minimal, and quite nice, though it all depends on what kind of wallpapers you prefer, of course. The first and last wallpapers in the gallery are quite similar, and include the number 8 in them, well, part of the number 8, which suggests these are created especially for the Galaxy S8. The second, third and fourth wallpapers are quite different, though all of these images are not too flashy, nor bright, which makes them a good choice for a minimal homescreen setup. It is possible we’ll get to see some additional wallpaper leaks before the Galaxy S8 finally reaches the market, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens. It is still possible that the Galaxy S8 will sport a QHD (2560 x 1440) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, but we cannot confirm that at this point.

The Galaxy S8 will be announced on March 29, Samsung confirmed that during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The phone’s larger sibling, the Galaxy S8 Plus, will probably launch alongside the Galaxy S8, and the two devices will pack in 4GB of RAM and Android Nougat. The Snapdragon 835 SoC will fuel the Galaxy S8 in some markets, while the company’s very own Exynos 8895 will do that in some other regions. The Galaxy S8 is expected to ship with a 5.8-inch display, while the Galaxy S8 Plus will sport a 6.2-inch panel. We’re looking at Super AMOLED displays here, which was to be expected. In any case, stay tuned, the Galaxy S8 is expected to land in 12 days, so there’s still plenty of time for new info to surface.
