Binatone Global’s Motorola Accessories branch recently launched a couple of new products in the UK, namely the Motorola MDC100 Dash Cam and the Motorola Verve Loop Sports wireless headphones. The products are currently available in the UK through online retailer Argos and are accompanied by price tags of £59.99 and £34.99 respectively. Although the products are Motorola-branded, it’s worth noting that Motorola Mobility sold its accessories branch to Binatone Global back in 2015, meaning that although these products are built under the Motorola brand, they are not manufactured by Lenovo or Motorola.
Starting off with the Motorola MDC100 Dash Cam, unsurprisingly this is a dashboard camera designed for automobiles, featuring a 2.7-inch TFT LCD display with 120-degree viewing angles and 1080p resolution. Additionally, the Motorola MDC100 Dash Cam is equipped with motion detection and night vision sensors, and takes advantage of certain tools that help with storage management, such us the ability to detect when driving in a loop and overwrite previous footage. Out of the gates, the camera is equipped with a microSD card slot able to read up to 32GB of storage, but a microSD card is not included. The device also comes with a G-sensor which can detect accidents judging by the motion of the car, and prompt the Dash Cam to keep relevant videos from being overwritten. The Motorola MDC100 Dash Cam is available on Argos in black for the price of £59.99 (down from £79.99), and the retailer also offers a special bundle of 2 Motorola MDC100 Dash Cams for the price of £99.99.
Moving on to the second product, the Motorola Verve Loop Sports wireless in-ear headphones are part of the VerveLive product family and connect through Bluetooth, offering aptX HD codec support. They are equipped with 5mm drivers and in-line volume controls as well as an in-line microphone, and hold enough battery life to boast up to 5 hours of playback or up to 6 hours talk-time. Lastly, it’s worth noting that they take advantage of water resistance backed by an IPX4 certificate, which should make them a viable solution for more activities and lifestyles. The Motorola Verve Loop Sports earbuds are available in black and silver for the price of £34.99.
