A bunch of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus leaks show just about every angle of the two phones just days before the scheduled reveal that Samsung has planned for March 29th, which is when they will be holding their Unpacked event to announce their 2017 flagship smartphones. While there has also been a Gold color that has leaked for these devices before and previous leaks have already shown all four of the colors that have leaked today, these newly leaked press renders show not only the front and the back but left and right angles of the device for each color and for both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, so there is some new stuff to see visually.
In addition to the various angles of both phones in four of the different colors that will be released for each device, there are also a few promotional images for the Galaxy S8 lineup which detail some of the phone’s features. One image showcases that the phones will be water resistant, while another focuses in on a closer look at the “Infinity Display” to be used on the device, and yet another focuses in on a closer look at the rear-facing 12-megapixel camera that Samsung is said to be using for both phones.
Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been rumored to carry an iris scanner for recognition, and there is a promotional image showing the feature in action that was leaked along with all of these other images, which seems to suggest that each phone will indeed have this feature integrated into them at launch. This shouldn’t be so much of a surprise as Samsung has already used the iris scanner on the Galaxy Note 7 that it launched last Fall. The last two images include a side angle that shows the thinness of the Galaxy S8 Black and Silver models, and one image makes a reference to Samsung’s Guard S8 feature, which is simply the latest version of Samsung Guard. With this being present, buyers of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be able to get a phone repair within a two-hour time frame and add a year onto the warranty of the device, though it’s noted that Samsung will only this offer this in some regions. While most of the pictures aren’t showing much of anything that’s new when it comes to the design, they do add to the overall aspect of knowing mostly everything when it comes to what the phones will look like.
