The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus leaks have been off the hook in the last couple of days, and two additional leaks have just surfaced. The Galaxy S8 hands-on video popped up on YouTube, and you can check it out down below, while that device also paid a visit to Geekbench. The Galaxy S8 that you can check out down below comes with a black paint job, and this variant will probably be called ‘Midnight Black’ by Samsung once the company unveils it later today. This video is not long at all, it lasts only about 7 seconds, but it gives you an idea as to what you can expect later today. You can take a look at the phone’s on-screen buttons, and even part of its UI.
Now, if you take a look at the provided image down below, you’ll get to see the Galaxy S8 Geekbench listing. Do keep in mind that we’re looking at the Exynos 8895 variant of the Galaxy S8 here, and the device managed to score 1,970 points in the single-core, and 6,115 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. This listing also confirms that the device will ship with 4GB of RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. That being said, these two smartphones will be announced later today, at 11AM EST (8AM PST, 4PM CET) in New York and London, simultaneously. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus leaks have been surfacing for weeks now, even months, but in the last couple of days we’ve seen a ton of such leaks, some of them revealed a lot of info when it comes to these two devices.
Earlier today, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus got certified in China, and a separate leak revealed a detailed spec sheet for both devices. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will both be made out of metal and glass, and will look identical, though the ‘Plus’ model will be larger, of course. The Galaxy S8 will sport a 5.8-inch 2960 x 1440 Super AMOLED display, which will be curved on the sides, while the Galaxy S8 Plus will ship with such a panel as well, but it will be somewhat larger at 6.2 inches. Both of these devices will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and both of them will pack in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage.
