The Huawei P10, P10 Plus and P10 Lite were officially introduced late last month at Mobile World Congress 2017, and now it appears that certain retailers in specific regions are gearing up for the smartphones’ eventual arrival. Point in case, the Huawei P10 family is now available for pre-order in the Netherlands through Mediamarkt, where the products have an estimated shipping dates set for March 17. Meanwhile, the Huawei P10 is also available for pre-purchase in Netherlands through T-Mobile and bol.com.
Mediamarkt in Netherlands has begun offering the Huawei P10 lineup on pre-order terms. The Huawei P10 costs EUR 599, the Huawei P10 Plus carries a price tag of EUR 749, and last but not least, the more budget-conscious Huawei P10 Lite is available for EUR 349. The smartphones can be acquired in a variety of colors including black, gold, and silver, and Mediamarkt expects to start shipping orders on March 17. To make things more interesting for prospective buyers, Mediamarkt will bundle every Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus pre-ordered before March 23 with a Leica Sofort instant camera for free. The unit would normally have a MSRP of EUR 289 so all in all, the Dutch retailer’s special offers seem quite appealing, especially for photography enthusiasts looking for a throwback at a retro Polaroid-style instant camera.
As for the smartphones themselves, the Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus share a handful of similarities, including a HiSilicon Kirin 960 System-on-Chip, a Mali-G71 MP8 (eight-core) graphics chip, a dual main camera setup comprising a 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel unit powered by Leica optics, as well as a front-facing 8-megapixel sensor. However, while the Huawei P10 carries a 5.1-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS-NEO LCD display and 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei P10 Plus sports a 5.5-inch panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, and can be acquired with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Huawei P10 Lite features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS LCD display, a HiSilicon Kirin 655 System-on-Chip, a Mali-T830 MP2 (dual-core) GPU, 4 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of on-board memory. The Huawei P10 also became available for pre-order in Spain recently, and the trio’s availability should continue to expand in other regions throughout the month of March and beyond.
