The latest leak shows that the Galaxy S8 will also come in Gold along with the other four colors that have been talked about so far. In a leaked image today from Evan Blass, you can see the Gold colored Samsung Galaxy S8 along with the Black Sky and Orchid Grey devices. This marks the fifth color that has been unveiled unofficially for Samsung’s two upcoming flagship smartphones which are scheduled to be announced next week at Unpacked. Out of the five colors three of the other ones have already shown up in leaked press renders, which are the two other mentioned above as well as the Glacial Silver.
This leaves the Coral Blue model as the only one that has yet to be seen, though it’s not unlikely that it will surface before Samsung’s event next week as there is always a chance that it will pop up before then. Having said that, Coral Blue was also used for last year’s Galaxy S7 Edge but wasn’t released until the last part of the year, so it’s entirely possible that Samsung may not show off the blue model until later on in the year. Also worth noting is that Samsung is probably not going to release every single color in all of the markets where the phone will be available so some consumers could end up being prevented from getting the color they want the most.
In addition to the Gold, Coral, Blue, Black Sky, Orchid Grey, and Glacial Silver colors, a leaked image of what was allegedly the Galaxy S8 has also shown up in a Purple color, though this particular has not been rumored as of yet, and the leak was not of a press render like the ones shown below, but rather a live image of what could have been a prototype. Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are rumored to go on sale in the U.S. at the end of next month, while launching first in South Korea. It has been rumored that the Galaxy S8 would cost $800 in the U.S. while the Galaxy S8+ has been rumored to cost $870.
