The LG G6 went up for pre-order earlier this month at Verizon – among other carriers and retailers – and today, the newest smartphone from LG is now available for purchase. Verizon is selling it for $0 down and $28/month or you can pick it up for $672 at full retail. Which is a pretty good price for the LG G6, although each of the US carriers are offering it different prices.
Verizon is offering a few freebies with the LG G6, as you’d expect. Of course, like any LG G6 bought in the US, you will be able to get a Google Home for free. This is courtesy of LG, and a great way to really take advantage of the Google Assistant, which is built into the LG G6 as well as Google Home. Verizon is also offering a 43-inch LG HD TV with the purchase of the G6. And for those that are looking to trade in your current phone, you can get up to $200 in bill credits, depending on the phone you trade in. A few great offers from Verizon for those interested in the LG G6.
As far as specs go, the LG G6 has basically all of the latest high-end components. Including a 5.7-inch 2880×1440 resolution display, with a 18:9 aspect ratio. This is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB of RAM. There is also 32GB of storage with a micro SD card slot, along with a 3000mAh battery inside. The LG G6, in North America, brings wireless charging in the form of both Qi and PMA, but it does not bring that Quad DAC, so audiophiles won’t be too happy with the LG G6. It does also have Quick Charge 3.0, since the Snapdragon 821 is inside, so you’ll be able to charge it up nice and quick.
The LG G6 is available in-store and online from Verizon. So if you are a Verizon customer, or looking to join Verizon and take advantage of their new unlimited plan, the LG G6 is a great smartphone to pick up, and it’s now available. The other carriers – AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint – will be launching the LG G6 next week, on April 7th.
