British online retailer Clove revealed that it will start retailing the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3, and the Nokia 3310 (2017) this spring. The company published a new product page that’s announcing the upcoming lineup of new Nokia handsets, in addition to promoting several feature phones that are already available for purchase in the United Kingdom through Clove. The retailer says that the Nokia 105, Nokia 150, and the Nokia 216 are just building up to the release of three Android-powered smartphones, as well as the refresh of a popular 2000 feature phone. The upcoming Nokia phones are expected to start hitting the market in the United Kingdom by May. Clove also revealed that Nokia is planning to cover every price range with its devices in the near future, implying that the Finnish phone maker may launch a flagship device later this year.
Clove will start retailing the Nokia 6 in June, though the company has yet to reveal the price tag of the device. Still, industry watchers are expecting that the handset will be priced at around £199. Furthermore, Carphone Warehouse already confirmed that it will begin selling the Nokia 6 in May. The low-end Nokia 3 will also be available in the United Kingdom this May, priced at around £119. The phone is expected to launch simultaneously with the Nokia 5 that boasts better specs and will likely retail for approximately £169. Clove’s listings reveal that all three devices will be available in every color Nokia previously announced. The same goes for the Nokia 3310 (2017) that’s expected to hit the UK market in two months and will retail for around £45.
HMD Global officially announced the Nokia 3310, Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and the international variant of the Nokia 6 at the latest iteration of Mobile World Congress (MWC). The main selling points of the company’s upcoming Android-powered lineup are quality builds, timely updates, and a stock Android experience. Nokia previously revealed that it was working on its own Android skin but decided against implementing it since it didn’t think anything it came up with provided a notably better experience to that of stock Android. None of the devices that Nokia announced so far will be launching in the United States in the coming months, but the brand may return to the U.S. once it unveils a flagship handset that it’s reportedly working on.
