Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S3 has been a long time coming. And now it’s finally available for pre-order, after being announced at Mobile World Congress in late-February. Samsung announced that besides their own online store, you’ll be able to pre-order the Galaxy Tab S3 from Amazon and Best Buy beginning today. The asking price for the 9.7-inch tablet is $599, and it’s only offered with 32GB of storage. But don’t worry, there is a micro SD card slot available for expanding that storage. Samsung is offering the tablet in two different colors, there’s black and silver. While pre-orders begin today, in-store availability won’t begin until March 24th. Samsung has also announced the pricing for their Pogo Keyboard, which will cost users about $129. That’s pretty much standard for a keyboard attachment to a tablet these days.
When it comes to the Galaxy Tab S3, we’re looking at a 9.7-inch 2048×1536 resolution display, which is the same as the previous generation – Galaxy Tab S2. It’s using an HDR AMOLED display and also uses quad speakers which have been tuned by AKG. What this means is that you’re going to get a pretty amazing experience out of this tablet, and it’s going to be perfect for entertainment. The Galaxy Tab S3 does also get an enhanced S Pen. It’s not embedded in the tablet, like it has been in the Galaxy Note smartphones, however. The S Pen is now larger, and feels a bit more solid, Samsung has also brought over all of the features from the Galaxy Note 7 here, like screen-off memo and more.
Samsung has Android 7.0 Nougat loaded up on the Galaxy Tab S3, as you would expect from a tablet launching in March of 2017. Additionally, it has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter which you can use for video calls and such. The worldwide model of the Galaxy Tab S3 will have an Exynos chipset, while the US is getting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. There’s also 4GB of RAM included, and USB-C for charging and connectivity. Making it the only tablet that Samsung has with a USB-C connector, at this time. You can pre-order the Galaxy Tab S3 from the links below, and it should arrive on your doorstep by March 24th, just over a week from now.
