Samsung Posts "Official Launch Film" for Galaxy Tab S3

On Friday, Samsung made the Galaxy Tab S3 available for purchase, although the Galaxy Book is still not available. These are Samsung’s newest tablets which were announced at Mobile World Congress last month in Barcelona. The Galaxy Tab S3 is their Android tablet, which is also the successor to the Galaxy Tab S2, a tablet that many referred to as one of the best Android tablets on the market. While the Samsung Galaxy Book is a Windows tablet, set to compete with the likes the Microsoft Surface and the Huawei Matebook. Samsung has now launched an “official launch film” for each tablet, which essentially shows you all of the features of these tablets, to get you to buy one or the other, or even both.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is one of the best Android tablets of 2017 (although that is a fairly small group anyways), sporting a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display, along with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 inside, it’s definitely a powerful machine. Samsung has also included 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage here. There is a micro SD card slot available as well. Perhaps the most interesting part of this tablet is the fact that it comes with the S Pen. But it’s not the S Pen that everyone knows and loves. This S Pen is slightly thicker, since it doesn’t go inside of the tablet, and it makes it a bit easier to use than the thinner S Pen you see with the Galaxy Note smartphones.

When it comes to the Galaxy Book, it’s basically the successor to the Galaxy TabProS that the company launched last year. Samsung is offering it in either a 10-inch or a 12-inch version, with the larger screen being the more high-end model. The Galaxy Book does have its own keyboard (while the Galaxy Tab S3’s is separate) and the S Pen does indeed work with the Galaxy Book, with Samsung having worked with Microsoft to bring stylus support to Windows. You can check out both videos for both tablets down below. The Galaxy Tab S3 is available now for $599, while the Galaxy Book is not yet available.
