Yet another set of the Galaxy S8 images has just leaked. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see three new crystal clear images which are showing off the Galaxy S8. These are real life images of the phone, and even though the device is in a case, that doesn’t stop us from seeing its design properly, as this seems to be a see-through case. The phone’s display is turned on, which not only lets us see its star-struck wallpaper and clock, but also the on-screen home key. Now, do keep in mind that this is either a lockscreen, or the phone’s always-on mode, we’re still not sure.
If you take a closer look at the phone, you’ll notice there are a couple of physical keys on it. The power / lock button is placed on the right, while you’ll find the volume up, volume down and Bixby AI buttons on the left. If you flip the phone over, you’ll notice its main camera sensor, which is flanked by a dual-tone LED flash, heart rate sensor and the fingerprint scanner. Interestingly enough, the fingerprint scanner is placed right next to the camera sensor, which is not something you see every day, but pretty much every Galaxy S8 leak suggested that is where the fingerprint scanner will lie, so… this one is no different. Needless to say, this phone has extremely thin bezels above and below the display, and its display is curved on the sides. Rumors are saying that the regular Galaxy S8 model will ship with a 5.8-inch display, while the ‘Plus’ variant is expected to sport a 6.2-inch panel, though the two devices will not be as huge thanks to such thin bezels.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S8 (and probably its ‘Plus’ variant) on March 29, the company already confirmed that during this year’s Mobile World Congress. The two devices are expected to go on sale in April, and they will be fueled by either the Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895, depending on where you purchase your unit. The two phones will pack in 4GB of RAM, and Android Nougat will come pre-installed on both of them, along with Samsung’s custom UI, of course. You can expect to see Samsung Super AMOLED display on both of these phones, and a 3.5mm headphone jack will also be a part of the package.
