It seems like the Moto Z (2017) just surfaced. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll notice there are two images inside. Both images are showing the alleged Moto Z (2017) smartphone, though the images are considerably different. In the first image, you get to see a render of this smartphone, only its front side, though, but it’s plenty enough to spot some details. It seems like the ‘Moto’ logo will be placed below the display, and below it, you’ll notice the fingerprint scanner. There are three physical keys on the right-hand side of this smartphone, which, we presume, are the phone’s power / lock key, volume up and volume down buttons.
Now, the second image is showing off the the Moto Z (2017) inside of a Gamepad Mod, which is essentially a Moto Mod for gaming, which contains analog sticks, as well as regular buttons, and resembles some regular controllers out there, except the fact there’s a phone in the very middle of it. Now, if this info is accurate, then the upcoming Moto Z (2017) will sport a front-facing LED flash as well, that sensor is quite noticeable in both images. That is pretty much all the info that surfaced, and it’s up to you to choose what to think here. It is possible that the pictured phone is the Moto Z (2017), but we’ll have to wait and see what happens later this year. The Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones were introduced in June, so it is possible that their successor(s) will land in June as well, or at least mid-2017.
The Moto Z and Moto Z Force are both quite interesting phones, the Moto Z actually comes with a rather small battery which you can boost by using a Moto Mod, which is sold separately, by the way. The Moto Z received rather solid reviews back when it was released, though the company did not really manage to sell all that many Moto Z units, and they’ll be looking to change that with its successor. The Moto Z (2017) will probably ship with the Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch fullHD or QHD display. Spec details are still quite scarce, we don’t really have any concrete info just yet, so stay tuned, we’ll report back as soon as new info pops up.
