Video: This Meizu PRO 7 Concept Sports A Curved Display

The Meizu PRO 7 concept design video just surfaced, and it envisions Meizu’s upcoming flagship. The Meizu PRO 7 is actually expected to launch in the coming months, and the video that is embedded down below will tease your imagination as you’re waiting for the phone to become official. Meizu is expected to change their design language with the Meizu PRO 7, in order to differentiate, and the design of the device in the aforementioned video is certainly different than anything we’ve seen from Meizu thus far, read on.

The concept phone that you can see in the video actually comes with extremely thin bezels above and below its display, while the bezels are non-existent on the sides. The phone also sport a display which is slightly curved on the sides, and all of its physical keys are on the left, which is quite interesting. This phone sport a physical home key below the display, or at least a fingerprint scanner, there’s no way we can be sure based on the image alone. In any case, the source of this video, DBS Designing, also envisioned some specs for this smartphone. This concept Meizu PRO 7 smartphone features the company’s recently-announced Super mCharge fast charging, which is capable of charging up a smartphone with a 3,000mAh battery from 0% to 100% in only 19 minutes, which is impressive.

This imaginary smartphone is made out of metal, and it sports a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display. The device also packs in 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. It is fueled by a deca-core SoC, though the source does not mention which processor, let’s just say it’s the Helio X30, as that is the latest and greatest deca-core SoC out there. A 5,000mAh battery has also been mentioned in the video, and the same goes for a Type-C USB port which is placed on the bottom of the device. That USB port is flanked by speaker grills, and Meizu’s Flyme OS comes installed on top of Google’s operating system. A 16-megapixel snapper can be found on the back of this device, while a set of two 8-megapixel shooters is placed up front.
