The Xiaomi Mi 6 has just surfaced yet again, following a ton of various renders and all sorts of other leaks. This time around we get to see the back of the device, and along with it, the phone’s dual camera setup. As you can see, there are two camera sensors in the upper left corner of the device, and right next to them, you’ll notice the dual-LED flash. The company’s logo is also placed on the back of the phone, and the back side of the device seems to be made out of metal, as it was on the Xiaomi Mi 5. The back side of the device is also curved, as you can see, and that was the case with the Xiaomi Mi 5 as well, though the curve on the Xiaomi Mi 6 seems to be even more pronounced.
This image is quite blurry, truth be told, though it’s clear enough for us to see some details on the device. We cannot confirm this image is legit, of course, as a ton of leaks surfaced and it’s hard to know what to believe at this point, but as the phone’s announcement is coming, we’ll probably be getting more and more such leaks, and one of them will hopefully be legit. This design might as well be real, it goes hand-in-hand with a number of rumors which surfaced thus far, as it really does seem like the XiaomI Mi 6 will sport a similar design to its predecessor, though it will ship with two camera sensors on its back. Now, according to previous rumors, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and a 19-megapixel camera (Sony’s IMX400 sensor) on the back. The camera info seems a bit fishy, though, as this is the sensor that is included in the Xperia XZ Premium, and the Xperia XZs, two devices which were announced last month in Barcelona.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 will ship with Android Nougat out of the box, and on top of it, you’ll get Xiaomi’s MIUI 8.3, at least if a recent leak is to be believed. The device will probably ship with a front-facing fingerprint scanner, and a physical home key which will be placed below its display. Rumors are saying that a ceramic variant of the phone will also be available, and that it will be the most expensive model of the Xiaomi Mi 6 out there, which was to be expected. It’s also worth mentioning that Xiaomi’s recent teaser suggests that the Mi 6 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835. In any case, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to launch on April 11th, and even though Xiaomi still didn’t confirm that, the device will probably launch soon, stay tuned.
