360-degree CAD render videos of the upcoming Moto C and Moto C Plus from Lenovo have recently been leaked given a more close up view of the two phones. While these aren’t the first leaks of either device to show up on the web they are so far the best looking shots and they provide a much clearer picture of what the devices will look like. The CAD renders are fairly high resolution so you can see design details of the device like the large rear camera modules and the textured pattern on the power button, at least on the Moto C. You’ll see this type of texture used on plenty of other devices as it helps to distinguish the power button from the volume rocker.
Both sets of renders and both videos show that Lenovo has kept the two phones mostly the same when it comes to the design but there are some noticeable differences. The cameras on the back of the Moto C and the Moto C Plus for example are the same size but the camera sits flat on the Moto C while the Moto C Plus rear camera has a little bit of a bump as it’s raised from the back cover.
Consumers will be able to remove the battery covers of the Moto C and the Moto C Plus, and it looks like each device not only comes with a 3.5mm audio port for plugging in headphones, but also Micro USB for the charging port instead of USB Type-C, likely a decision made to help keep the cost of these phones a low affordable price. Both the Moto C and Moto C Plus were said to come in Black, Red, Gold, and Silver, and here you can see the Moto C in red and the Moto C Plus in the silver color. Official pricing and availability details haven’t been mentioned yet but the rumor is that they’ll be around the $100 mark or below. These renders also follow up similar renders of the Moto Z2 and the Moto E4 both of which were leaked just within the last few days, providing a good idea of what could be Lenovo and Motorola’s remaining 2017 lineup for smartphones.
