The Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus leaked earlier this month, and it is now official. This is Huawei’s all-new metal-clad smartphone which belongs in the entry-level group of smartphones. The device comes with now physical keys on its front side, but utilizes on-screen buttons instead, while the company’s logo is placed below its display. The device also sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, while you’ll be able to find its power / lock, volume up and volume down buttons on the right.
The Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus sports a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, while a 2.5D curved glass comes on top of it. A rear-facing fingerprint scanner which is included in this phone can unlock the device in only 0.2 seconds, says Huawei, and the phone comes in both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. The 3GB RAM model of the device packs in 32GB of storage, while the 4GB RAM variant comes with 64GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 64-bit octa-core SoC is clocked at 1.4GHz, and comes with the Adreno 505 GPU for graphics rendering. A 12-megapixel snapper can be found on the back of the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus, while an 8-megapixel camera lies on the front side of the device.
The Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus comes with two SIM card slots (2 x nano SIM), while you can utilize one of those slots in order to expand the device’s memory via a microSD card. The Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus measures 153.6 x 76.4 x 8.35mm, while it weighs 165 grams, in case you were wondering. 4G LTE is also supported here, and the phone comes in Black Blue, Champagne Gold, Gray, Pink and Silver color variants, so you have plenty of colors to choose from. The 3GB RAM variant of the device is priced at 1,499 Yuan ($217) in China, while the 4GB RAM model costs 1,699 Yuan ($246). Both variants of the device will become available through Huawei’s official online store, vMall, starting on April 28, though do keep in mind that the phone will become available in China only, at least for now.
