The OPPO R11 surfaced on GFXBench earlier this month, and the device just popped up in a couple of real life images. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see three new images of the OPPO R11. Now, two of these images seem to show off a Gold-colored variant of the OPPO R11, while the last one shows off the Rose Gold model, at least it seems like it, as the angles are not that great, so it is possible we’re mistaken.
As you can see in these images, the OPPO R11 will sport a dual camera setup on the back, and its main cameras will protrude a bit, unfortunately. This device will be made out of metal, and chances are that the device will be announced really soon. The OPPO R7 and R7 Plus were extremely popular for the company back in 2015, same goes for the OPPO R9 and R9 Plus which were in high demand last year, and OPPO is still selling quite a few of those phones. Back in January, OPPO managed to hit the 20 million sales mark for the OPPO R9 and OPPO R9 Plus, and the company sold 99.4 million smartphones last year. This China-based company really did grow quite a bit in the last couple of years, and it is currently the second-largest China-based smartphone manufacturer.
The OPPO R11 will, similar to its predecessor, be the company’s mid-range handset. The OPPO R11 will be quite powerful, if a recent GFXBench listing is to be believed, but it will still be a mid-range smartphone. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this smartphone, if GFXBench’s listing is accurate, and the phone will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display. The OPPO R11 will pack in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while Android 7.1.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on this device, which is quite interesting considering OPPO is usually quite late when it comes to updates. A 16-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of the OPPO R11 (this info seems to be a bit incorrect as we’re expecting two cameras on the back of the device), while a 20-megapixel snapper will be included on the phone’s front side. OPPO’s R smartphones are also known as selfie phones, which is why OPPO plans to include such a huge sensor on the OPPO R11’s front side.
