Xiaomi Mi 6 To Become Available Starting On April 28

Xiaomi had introduced their all-new Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship today, and along with the phone, this China-based tech giant also announced the Mi 6’s availability details. The Xiaomi Mi 6 will go on sale starting on April 28 in China, and it will be available through Mi.com, Mi Home stores and a number of Xiaomi’s retail partners. Now, as many of you already know, Xiaomi had introduced several variants of their new flagship, and each of them comes with a different price point, of course.

All of the Xiaomi Mi 6 models come with 6GB of RAM, though Xiaomi announced two regular models plus two special edition variants of the Mi 6. Regular Xiaomi Mi 6 variants come in Black, White and Blue color variants, and will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage iterations. The 64GB Xiaomi Mi 6 model is priced at 2,499 Yuan ($363), while the 128GB storage variants costs 2,899 Yuan ($421). Now, Xiaomi also released the Xiaomi Mi 6 Silver Edition handset, which is a limited edition smartphone, and we still do not know how much will it cost. In addition to that, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Ceramic was also announced by the company, and that is a smartphone made out of ceramic and metal, as you’ve probably already guessed. A ceramic variant of the Xiaomi Mi 6 costs 2,999 Yuan ($436), and it probably won’t be more expensive than the Silver Edition Mi 6, but it’s still the most expensive Mi 6 model at the moment, considering we’re still not sure how much will the Silver Edition cost. It is worth noting that these price points apply to China only, as Xiaomi did not announce the Xiaomi Mi 6’s international pricing, though Xiaomi did confirm that the phone will become available in some regions outside of China at a later date, so there you have it.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is made out of metal and glass, aside from the ceramic model, of course. The Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a 5.15-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 6GB of RAM and comes in the aforementioned storage variants. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, and a 3,350mAh battery is also a part of this package. There are two 12-megapixel snappers available on the back of the Xiaomi Mi 6, and the phone ships with Android Nougat with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 OS on top of it.
