Any.do has added an A.I.-powered Assistant feature in a new update to the application on Android. Seeing as this is a to-do list application, any assistance with getting things done would likely be a welcomed adjustment to the app, even if Any.do already does a great at helping users get things done. This latest update puts Any.do up to version 4.0 and although it does incorporate the Assistant feature which is a big feature to add, there are other additions and improvements to look out for if you use this to-do list app to help you stay on top of your tasks and other responsibilities. This update was announced as far back as November on Any.do’s official blog, but at the time they didn’t have an Android release date and merely said that it would be coming soon.
That said the Assistant is sounding like a pretty big feature, as it will analyze your list of to-do’s and then suggest possible methods of completion on tasks it can get done for you. At the moment the Assistant feature is only in an Alpha state and is available to a limited amount of users and there is currently no mention of when it roll out to everyone. Assistant feature aside, Any.do also now includes a calendar right inside of the app so you can check your calendar dates, then move to creating a new to-do without ever having to leave the app to make sure that your timing and details match up with calendar information.
This should make creating to-do lists much more seamless and, save users time. Time is money so users will be able to spend less time creating these lists and more time actually getting the things done that are listed on them, which can in turn gives users more time to do other things they may want to do a little more, like spend time with family and friends, or perhaps relaxing or moving to another important work project. The calendar also provides multiple views so you can see things at a glance just the way you prefer it whether that be on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. In addition to the integrated calendar, and the new Assistant feature, Any.do also now uses Android 7.0’s notification system changes and those on Android 7.1 will be able to make use of the App Shortcuts to launch Any.do right into specific actions.
