Here's Where To Watch The HTC U 11 Live Stream

Since last year rumors had been circling about HTC’s upcoming smartphone that would house a pair of sensors on the sides of the device that would allow the user a form of interaction to launch apps and phone functions. Those later became known as the Edge Sensors earlier this year, and HTC’s device was found to be the HTC U 11, a continuation of the U line of devices that already includes the HTC U Play and HTC U Ultra, and also a follow up to the HTC 10 which was last year’s flagship smartphone from the Taiwanese manufacturer.

The HTC U 11 is rumored to be packed full of great hardware and specifications, though it’s no doubt that the Edge Sensors will be stealing the show as they are the most standout feature that the phone has. That being said HTC is said to be using a full lineup of awesome specs for the device including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch WQHD+ screen, and 64GB of internal storage space.

The device has been rumored to come with Android 7.1 Nougat onboard layered with HTC’s latest version of the Sense UI. It will also feature the Sense Companion, a digital assistant feature that you can already find on the HTC U Play and HTC U Ultra, which learns from the user over time and can make suggestion on places to eat or visit, as well as alert the user to when they might need a jacket due to the weather or remind them to charge their device when needed. While not officially announced yet, most of the details on the HTC U 11 have been leaked well before today and HTC’s press event happens just a bit later this morning (7AM CES / 2AM EST) where they will finally reveal the U 11 in its entirety. There’s no guarantee that the announcement will include pricing and availability details for the device, but HTC will be live streaming the event and you’ll be able to watch the live stream via the embedded YouTube link down below, if you’re interested in seeing everything there will be to know about HTC’s latest phone from specs to design.
