HTC U11 Is Coming To The UK In June, It Will Cost £649

The HTC U11 had been announced earlier today by HTC in Taiwan, and in case you live in the UK and are interested in purchasing this handset, you might want to read on. The HTC U11 is already available for pre-order in the US, both unlocked and through Sprint, well, the phone will be coming to the UK next month. The company actually released quite a bit of info when it comes to the UK launch, read on.

The HTC U11 will be coming to the UK in Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black and Ice White color variants at first, while the Solar Red color option will become available at a later date, the company did not say when. The phone will cost £649 unlocked in the UK, and will become available for purchase from Carphone Warehouse, EE, O2, Amazon, Very.co.uk, Argos and other online retailers. We did not get any info when it comes to pre-orders in the UK, but we presume that the handset will go on sale next month, and are not sure whether pre-orders will be available at all in the UK, but it’s possible that they’ll be opened in the near future. Having said that, the HTC U11 is HTC’s all-new flagship handset which has been leaking for weeks now, and those leaks were, more or less spot on.

The HTC U11 is made out of metal and glass, it sports a front-facing fingerprint scanner, and also comes with a set of special features. The HTC U11 sports pressure-sensitive frame, which lets you activate all sorts of functions, like taking photos, video or activating sound recorder, for example. HTC is calling this feature ‘Edge Sense’, and it’s basically the main feature that the company introduced with this phone. The HTC U11 also comes with a really capable 12-megapixel main camera, which is the highest-rated smartphone camera by DxOMark to date. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels the HTC U11, and this phone also packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. Android 7.1 Nougat comes out of the box on this smartphone, and on top of it, you’re getting HTC’s Sense UI, of course.
